I cant say anymore than this at the moment, you'll have to watch it on UKTV Food starting on the 17th of November at 9pm (and East Anglia region on the 21st) to see how we get on. I would just like to say a huge thank you to all those who voted for us. So tune in to see me serving a Michelin Starred chef a pigeon bap! What was I thinking, where was the Jus' and fancy salad
The wild food larder is going into rapid decline now as the cold creeps in, but it does herald the start of one of my favourite seasons - Ferreting. So if you were hanging out to go on a days ferreting, then now is the time to book up.
Register for 'Wild Food Night' & Farmers Market reminders, whats in season and more!
You can see we are passionate about good food, wild food in particular and spreading the word. Take a look at the menus of our Wild Food Nights or the food we serve at Woolmer Green farmers market, 'pan fried pigeon breast with caramelised balsamic onions', 'Rabbit Satay & Burgers', 'Smoked Pigeon Pate & Toast' along with seasonal soups & stews or our new 'Pigeon sausage Bap'. All meat is wild and sourced locally, cooked while you wait and served with local watercress or rocket, in a roll.
